Snowfall can be erratic in the Monterosa Ski region, but there is lots of high altitude skiing and comprehensive snow-making.
Conditions on the upper slopes are therefore often quite good. However, lower slopes can be more variable.
Where to ski in bad weather:
Open slopes dominate in Monterosa Ski, but there are some more wooded areas lower down, the best of which are above Champoluc and Gressoney.
