Little known Braunwald is the snowiest resort in Switzerland, with a seasonal snowfall average of around 9m. However, its limited slopes are not high and do get a lot of sun.
Mid-winter conditions are often excellent, but the area is vulnerable in warmer weather, especially in spring.
