Snow cover is fairly reliable in Crans Montana, but most of its slopes face south and slush is a problem later in the season. The runs on the glacier provide some relief but are limited in extent.

 

All in all, this resort is best skied in the first half of the season - unless sunbathing is your main priority!

Crans Montana has lots of trees in all sectors, affording excellent shelter in bad weather.

Where to head in poor snow conditions:

The best snow can usually be found on the glacier, as well as on the long run which connects it to the rest of the ski area below.
