Laax’s slopes reach 3000m and include a small glacier, which means there is usually plenty of snow, at least higher up.
However, many of the slopes are quite exposed to the sun, which means that snow quality is more variable, especially lower down and later in the season.
Snow-making is strategic rather than comprehensive.
