Alpbach's slopes may not be high, but they do mostly face north and, with good snow-making and grooming, snow cover is fairly reliable.

 

Snow quality is more variable though, especially later in the season when the modest altitude makes it difficult to avoid slush.

Where to ski in bad weather:

In poor visibility, simply stick to the lower half of the ski area where there are plenty of trees, both in Alpbach itself and nearby linked resorts.
