Mürren’s slopes are the highest in the Jungfrau Region and often have better snow than neighbouring Wengen and Grindelwald.
Snow quality can still be variable on the lower slopes, but is often excellent up in the Birg area - much of which is north-facing.
Where to ski in bad weather:
Mürren's lower slopes have a few trees but, generally speaking, the ski area is quite exposed and not a great place to be in bad weather.
If you can reach them, the runs close to the railway above Grindelwald offer the most protection in the area.
Where to head in poor snow conditions:
The best snow conditions in Mürren are often found in the high north-facing Birg area.
