Villars has reasonable natural snowfall, but the area is low and exposed to the sun. Cover is therefore not the most reliable even if the gentle grassy terrain does not require much snow to be skiable.

The linked resort of Les Diablerets is also a bit low for comfort, except for its glacier (Glacier 3000) where conditions are often excellent. This is a bit of a trek from Villars though and, generally speaking, snow quality across the area is variable, particularly late in the season.
