Kühtai is Austria's highest resort, with virtually all of its skiing above 2000m. Not surprisingly this makes for very reliable snow conditions, even if the slopes don't quite reach glacial heights.

Some of the runs also face south and catch a lot of sun, but snow-making is comprehensive. Kühtai boasts one of the longest seasons in the Alps, with skiing normally possible from late December to early May.

Kühtai's slopes are too limited for it to qualify for any of our Top 10s - otherwise this would be regarded as one of Europe's most reliable ski areas.
