Jackson Hole gets a lot of snow and powder days are frequent. Generally speaking, however, snow quality is not quite as consistent as in most Colorado resorts, such as Vail and Aspen.

 

The resort is not high by Rockies standards, and many of its steeper slopes face south or south-east so are prone to poor snow later in the season.
