The Pas de La Casa ski area is reasonably high and well served by snow-making, so snow reliability is fairly good, despite erratic early season snowfalls in recent years.

However, the local slopes are treeless and more vulnerable to bad weather than in neighbouring Soldeu.

Where to ski in bad weather:

Pas de la Casa is very open and bleak in bad weather. If the links are open, or you are able to drive there, Soldeu has far more trees and is a better bet when a storm socks in.
